FAQs
Questions, answered.
Everything hospital administrators ask before switching to HealthFlow.
Getting Started
How do I register my hospital?
Click "Register Your Hospital," provide your hospital’s name and phone number along with your own name and email. You’ll receive a hospital ID and a temporary password by email to sign in immediately.
How long does setup take?
Most hospitals are live within minutes of registering. Larger, multi-branch rollouts can be supported by our team for a smoother transition.
Do I need technical staff to set it up?
No. HealthFlow is designed to be configured by hospital administrators directly, through guided screens.
Can I migrate my existing patient records?
Yes, our team can help import existing patient and inventory data as part of onboarding for Hospital and Enterprise plans.
Platform & Data
Is my hospital's data separate from other hospitals?
Completely. Every hospital's records are isolated at the system level, not just hidden behind a login.
Who can see patient records within my hospital?
Only staff with the right role and permissions — ten built-in roles and more than thirty granular permissions.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. Every sensitive action is permanently logged with who did it, when, and from where.
Can I run more than one branch on the same account?
Yes, HealthFlow supports multi-branch hospitals natively.
Billing & Payments
What payment methods can my patients use?
Cash, card, or bank transfer at your hospital, and online via Paystack for online drug orders.
Does HealthFlow support NHIS patients?
Yes, for both inpatient and outpatient services, automatically splitting costs between patient and scheme.
Does HealthFlow support HMO patients?
Yes. Each hospital maintains its own HMO providers, with pre-authorization tracked by an HMO Officer.
What is a Family Wallet?
A prepaid account a guardian can fund to cover healthcare costs for multiple family members.
Pharmacy & Drug Ordering
How does batch tracking work?
Every product is tracked by batch with its own expiry date, dispensed oldest-expiring first (FEFO).
Can patients order medication refills online?
Yes, if your plan includes the online ordering portal — search, upload a prescription, choose a branch, and pay.
What happens with controlled medications ordered online?
Any controlled-substance order is automatically flagged for pharmacist license review before approval.
What is the Drug Knowledge Bank?
A reference layer enriched with data checked against NAFDAC registration records.
Support
What support is available if something goes wrong?
All plans include email support; Hospital and Enterprise plans include priority support.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your hospital's settings.
